The hotel resides in a Neo-Gothic 1895 red-brick building which possesses 60 guest rooms that retain their original design, with some offering views of the High Line. Each room’s eclectic mix of dated furnishings offer guests a quaint feel in addition to shaded gardens and courtyards that make for a quiet escape from the bustling city.

Each of the 298 lofty rooms boasts local art on its walls and picturesque views of the Hudson River and the city. The entire hotel channels New York City’s Jazz era, but mostly its LOCL bar with a piano, rich wood paneling and old-fashioned cocktails.
