Actress Portman pregnant and engaged
Natalie Portman has released that she and her boyfriend, renown French ballet dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, are engaged and expecting their first child. The couple met during the filming of “Black Swan” – a movie that is creating some Oscar buzz for the U.S. actress and has already earned her best actress nominations from both the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild.
Portman is reportedly overcome. “I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience,” Portman said in an exclusive statement to Entertainment Weekly.
French-born, 33-year-old Millepied, who is the principal dancer of the New York Ballet, was responsible for preparing Portman for her role in the dance thriller. The couple so far has not make known when the wedding will be or where the baby will be born.
Look for Portman in her next role starring opposite Ashton Kutcher in “No Strings Attached.”
