Amazon flash-sale site now offers designer tab
Amazon’s members-only flash-sale site, MyHabit, is looking to lure fashionistas with its newly released designer tab, reported WWD. Adding to the tabs of women’s, men’s, children’s and home, the new section will feature the up to 60 percent off consumers usually receive from MyHabit sales.
The initial designers offered include Thakoon, Valentino, Bibhu Mohapatra, Costume National, Balmain and Alejandro Ingelmo.
Since its launch spring 2010, MyHabit has boasted some designer brands but has gravitated more toward contemporary labels. The goal, the website declared to WWD, is to create a supreme selection “all in one dedicated place, allowing for a faster, more tailored shopping experience for customers seeking designer labels.”
The designer sales will be available Mondays and Wednesdays and will be held for five days or until the pieces have all been sold.
