April 22 Preview: Flash Mob Fashion Show by Reco Jeans
LadyLUX has been a big proponent of getting out there for Earth Day. When we heard Reco Jeans was teaming up with EarthdayNY.org, we knew we had to to get the word out.
The recycled denim company, which we featured in the summer, is organizing a flash mob fashion show in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. After a procession of models dressed in eco-friendly apparel, a surprise awaits the crowds as everyone takes part in a moment of solidarity. The website reads, “The “activity” will be flashing “The new symbol of hope and commitment” which is being commemorated by forming the letter “E” with the right hand.” The video is going to be part of an ongoing campaign between the two companies, in an effort to promote eco-awareness.
Reco Jeans is one of the only recycled denim companies on the market that have green label certification. Plus, they recycle all excess materials wasted during manufacturing. Their eco-denim will be available to patrons at the Green Shows EcoLux boutique from the April 19 to 24.
