Banana Republic goes ‘mad’

Banana Republic has plans to release a capsule collection of fashions inspired by dramatic AMC television show “Mad Men,” marking the second year the two entities have collaborated.

Created in conjunction with “Mad Men” costume designer Janie Bryant, the luxury line will draw from 1960s styles to produce effortlessly chic and tailored fashion, contemporary prints and fun accessories.

The 65-piece collection will include a variety of accessories and clothing, such as suits, dresses, ties, sweaters, hats, skirts, coats and blouses.

Owned by Gap, Banana Republic combines luxury with accessibility, offering apparel, handbags, jewelry, fragrance and eyewear for both men and women that are both effortless and versatile.

The capsule collection will be available in Banana Republic stores and online at www.bananarepublic.com.
