Grammy Awards 2013: Best Dressed

The Grammy Awards are always fun to watch as stars take risks in unexpected silhouettes and sexy ensembles and 2013 was no exception. See who had us doing double takes on the red carpet this year:

Best Gown: Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood turned heads in a Roberto Cavalli gown and $31 million worth of jewelry by Johnathon Arndt. The simple black ensemble played up her hourglass figure, while a statement necklace stole the show.

Best Color: Rihanna

One of the few stars who opted for color on the red carpet, the “Stay” singer stunned in a custom red Azzedine Alaia dress and Neil Lane Jewelry. The romantic style showed off her toned upper body, complemented by cascading curls.

Best Cutouts: Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland barely got by the dress code in a paneled cutout gown by Georges Chakra. A mermaid bottom and halter top in addition to simple hair and makeup showed off her fit figure.

Best Detail: Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift looked like a grecian goddess in a draped J. Mendel gown and Jimmy Choo strappy sandals. Tastful cutouts, strategic metallic straps and flowing pleats offer a sexier and more mature look for the songstress.

Best Sexy: Chrissy Teigan

Going with a skin baring Joy Ciocci number, Chrissy Teigan hints at just the right amount of sex appeal. Lace detailing and a seafoam green clutch offer a ladylike touch to this skin baring look.
