Blaque Label launches Spring 2012 collection inspired by ‘70s glamour

Dressing up and looking chic can sometimes break the bank. Kathy Lee and her husband John understand this predicament a little too well: she has spent copious amounts of money on dresses, often only wearing them a handful of times. Contemplating a solution, the young couple conceived the idea to create luxe looks at a more affordable price point and, soon enough, Blaque Label was born.

The high street women’s contemporary collection aims to blend dresses and separates that can easily go from day to night. Curated by a team of the industry’s top designers, Blaque Label translates runway styles from around the globe into fashion forward, body conscious collections that have been worn by Hollywood favorites including Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Tori Spelling, Denise Richards and Giuliana Rancic. The high-end silhouettes are presented in supreme quality fabrics and, most importantly, boast affordable price points between $75 and $230 for accessible luxury.

Designing with the cosmopolitan woman in mind, the Spring/Summer 2012 collection epitomizes effortless elegance. This season’s styles are inspired by ‘70s glamour and feature a stylish range of regal maxi dresses, sweet sundresses and jumpsuits. The designers infused the brilliant rainbow shades from the runway, offering cobalt blue long-sleeve rompers, girly coral tulip dresses, long cascading purple halters, flowing sleeveless asymmetrical chiffon numbers, waist cutout maxis and an assortment of two-tone daydresses. Each piece reflects impeccable fit and will flatter various body types.

Blaque Label retails at better boutiques nationwide along with various e-retailers including Singer 22, KarmaLoop and Boutique To You.
