LadyLUX: What inspired you to start a Fashion Blog?
exploRED in LA: Fashion has been something I've loved and been interested in for as long as I can remember. After visiting many fashion blogs and learning more about what they are and do, I decided I was capable of having my own. It's definitely been a journey but I think I've finally figured out what works best for me as a fashion blogger.
LL: How would you describe your personal Style?
eLA: I would say my style is feminine, comfortable and unpredictable. I say unpredictable because I don't always stick to the same “look.” I wear whatever I like, whether it be a leather jacket or a crochet sweater. I think wearing what you love and feel confident in is more important than being consistent!

LL: What’s your favorite trend of 2012?
Right now, I'm loving all of the neons! I just bought a neon yellow cami that I think will be getting a lot of use this Spring- adds a little pop to any outfit. Oh, and printed pants! I need some tribal ones…
eLA: Share something your readers might not know about you
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication so not only do I have my blog because I love fashion but also because I love to write! It's the perfect outlet.
LL: Who is your style icon?
eLA: I've said it once and I'll say it again: Kourtney Kardashian! The woman knows how to dress.

LL: What is your favorite part about creating content for exploRED?
eLA: Just being able to put all of my inspiration in one place. It's definitely hard work and I never feel like I'm “done” but when you're doing something you love and you get positive responses, it makes it all worth it and motivates you to keep doing it. I think this is just the beginning of something really great…
LL: What would you like to accomplish or create in 2012?
eLA: In 2012 I would like to reach as many people as possible and share my blog with others who love fashion, food, music, etc. I want to collaborate with different bloggers/designers/businesses and learn more about the industry and myself. I am more than excited for the future and am hoping for more success with exploREDinLA.com!
