Coca Cola Light Receives a Fashion Makeover for Charity

Iconic beverage brand, Coca Cola, has creatively paired fashion with philanthropy!

Taking a tip from the fashion industry, Coca Cola has enlisted top talent to master a ‘makeover’ for their ‘light’ label as part of their ‘Tribute to Fashion’ charity project. The light tag represents the popular diet version here in the United States.

This campaign was created to raise funds for the Abruzzo, Italy earthquake fund, which devastated much of the surrounding area. The formal launch was also coordinated with Milan Fashion Week.

Some of the most talented Italian designers were recruited to be a part of this project. The most notable of names include Moschino, Donatella Versace, Angela Missoni, Alberto Ferreti and Consuelo Castiglioni. Each will be utilizing their genius to artistically design their own masterpiece, which will then be turned into a limited-edition bottle available for purchase as of September 25. To checkout more pictures of the designs refer to popsop.com.

The sales from these purchases will go directly to benefit young women who have been affected by the Abruzzo earthquake and its aftermath.

So LUXies, what do you think of this new fashionable venture? Would new ‘looks’ and a good cause entice you to sip this refreshing beverage?
