Coralie Charriol Launches Handbag Line
Being the child of a famous parent can be a hard act to follow, especially when your father is one of the most well-known accessories executives in the world. For Coralie Charriol, it was natural. After serving as the vice president of jewelry and leather goods for Charriol for ten years, Coralie is leaving the nest and launching a handbag line of her own, c.lili. The designer was on QVC two weeks ago and will appear again tonight.
The daughter of Philippe Charriol, the president of Charriol, the Swiss jeweler and watchmaker – who had been the president of Cartier for 15 years before that – being in the spotlight was something to which she was accustomed. So was living around accessories.
Well-versed in the world of high-end, luxury accessories, and with vast experience behind her, Coralie has fashioned a line that appeals to women who are worldly and sophisticated, yet at ease in any situation. Her bags meet the demands of the modern twenty-first century woman – one much like Charriol herself. “Stylish career women, party girls and free-spirited adventurers – these are all the girls I see with a c.lili bag on their arm,” she said. As Charriol is a mom, as well as a fashionable career woman who goes out at night but leads a full life during the day, she requires an accessory that can do it all.
