DKNY and Same Sky celebrate International Women’s Day
On March 7, DKNY and Same Sky will be teaming up to celebrate International Women’s Day with a special charity shopping event. Same Sky founder Francine LeFrak will be joined by model Veronika Vareková to host the champagne and hor d’oeuvres reception at DKNY’s Madison Avenue store featuring the brand’s Spring 2012 collection and the debut of Same Sky’s Hope necklace collection and men’s cuff links. DKNY will be offering an exclusive 10% discount on the new line and will donate 10% of the proceeds to Same Sky.
Same Sky is a fair trade company that provides employment to HIV-positive women in Rwanda and boosts their quality of life. The organization empowers women as artisans and uses jewelry to effect global change, one woman at a time.
The celebration will take place on Wednesday, March 7th, from 5-8PM at 655 Madison Ave, NYC.
