Dsquared² squares itself into new stores

Dsquared² has plans to launch its first international flagship store this September. Located at 247/251 rue Saint Honoré in Paris, the store is an important milestone for the brand in its international developments, reported StyleSight.

Owned and designed by Canadian twins, Dean and Dan Caten, and crafted in Italy, the luxury fashion brand is taking its international growth seriously. The firm is working on an incredible expansion in Asia — aiming to open 15 new stores in the region by 2015 – and is strengthening its base in Europe, its top market.

Additionally, over the next two years, the label will tread further around the globe by unveiling another four flagships in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London. The company hopes that these flagships will be the first of many new stores opening across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

“Opening a boutique in Paris has been our dream ever since we started the Dsquared² adventure,” Dean and Dan said, reported StyleSight. “We waited patiently in order to find the perfect prestigious location that could fulfill the brand’s requirements, in particular the need to give the proper visibility to all the product categories of the brand. As the perfect opportunity finally arrived, we are thrilled and proud to open our Parisian boutique on rue Saint Honoré, a location that is a synonymous of luxury and world class (sic).”

Nicely positioned in the heart of Paris, the new 800-square-meter location will boast dramatic views of the famed rue Saint Honoré— three sumptuous display windows will face nearby luxury boutiques and opulent hotels. The store, which will offer a range of merchandise on all of its three floors, will be a part of the façade of one of the top international hotels, the Mandarin Oriental.

Dsquared² bills itself as an “intelligent mix of irreverent Canadian wit and refined Italian tailoring,” combing sophistication with a sexy feel.
