Fashion Glam: Downtown L.A. Fashion Week Festivities
Calling all fashion-obsessed ladies! This month will host some of L.A.’s most fashionable events, showcasing spring ’10 collections.
Between the Downtown affair for Market Week from October 12-20 and Hollywood for Halloween from October 28-31, you’re sure to find something that peaks your interest. Below we have highlighted the upcoming festivities with Downtown L.A. Fashion Week and we’ll let you know more about the ‘Hollywood Rock Fashion Week’ as the dates get closer! Stay tuned… fashion galore for all those in the Southern California vicinities!
The Downtown Los Angeles Fashion Week will take place at Geffen Contemporary at MOCA and is presented in association with Fashion Group International. VIP cocktail party, ‘Meet the Designers,’ will commensurate the kick off event at the Standard Hotel on Monday, October 12. Doors open at 6:30 pm, $100 donation is required. Interested in attending, be sure to RSVP at fgila.org.
In the spirit of “Givenchy and Hepburn”, the most endearing designer and muse collaboration of all time, LA’s most influential designers will walk the FGILA Red Carpet arm-in-arm with their favorite Muse (celebrity model) as we celebrate their contribution to Los Angeles fashion. –fgila.org
