Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC will host its Big Night Out at Cipriani Wall Street. Featuring luxury silent auction items, premium open bar, live DJ and gourmet food selections, this promises to be an enjoyable affair. Just remember to come lucky! The event will also feature casino games and a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament with prizes.

American Heart Association Heart Ball ~ Feb 23

This is the American Heart Association’s biggest event of the year in the Washington region, and they are pulling out all the stops to make it a fantastic evening celebrating the work of the medical community there and the vital contributions of volunteers and donors. Held at the National Building Museum, it will feature an impressive live and silent auction.

Cycle for Survival ~ Feb 2

Get outside, get some exercise and save some lives in the process! Held at Equinox gyms in Miami and around the country, Cycle for Survival is an indoor team cycling event that has raised over $23.9 million for rare cancer research since its founding in 2007. Did you know that more than half of people diagnosed with cancer have a rare form of the disease? These include brain, pancreatic, cervical and pediatric cancers.

Poker for Paws ~ Feb 23

Texas animal lovers should plan to attend the Poker For Paws Tournament benefiting Operation Kindness No-Kill Animal Shelter. A donation of $50.00 earns you 5,000 chips and a donation of five cans of cat or dog food earns an extra 1,000! The No Kill movement believes that every animal is worth saving. Help this shelter make a difference for the pets in their community.

Wine and Wishes ~ Feb 2

Dance for a Cure ~ Feb 2

Join “Dancing With the Stars” favorites Mark Ballas, Anna Trebunskaya, Nick Kosovich and Jonathan Roberts for a black-tie gala to benefit prostate cancer research. The event will benefit the AdMeTech Foundation and the Arthur Murray Foundation, which have partnered to address the lack of research funding in this important area and ultimately transform men’s healthcare.
