The highlight of the evening was an auction of the first U.S. bottle of the world’s most valuable single malt. With only one of 11 available, the 55-year-old Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve raised $94,000 for SHFT Initiatives, Grenier’s charity. Renowned whisky investor Mahesh Patel made the impressive purchase, shattering the world auction record for the most expensive single malt scotch whisky.
