Gwen Stefani and OPI Releasing Nail Polish Collection

Ready to punk out a la Gwen Stefani style right down to your nail polish? OPI just announced it is partnering with Stefani to create a limited edition collection of nail polish.

OPI said it was inspired by this year’s Met Gala’s theme, Punk: Chaos to Couture, and the influence music and rock stars have over fashion. It teamed up with one of rock star’s elite, Stefani, to create the lineup of seven new shades of lacquer. Stefani was the ideal choice since she also happens to be a fashion designer, beauty and style icon as well as a musician.

OPI voiced similar sentiments, saying, “With her expertise as a singer, songwriter and designer, who better to collaborate with than Gwen Stefani?”

In fact, the multi-talented star known for her signature red lips created the red shade Over & Over A-Gwen, which was inspired by her choice of lip color. OPI stuck with its always clever nail polish names and named each shade in the new collection after Stefani’s songs and projects The shade Love.Angel.Music.Baby takes its name from her fashion house and another color, 4 In The Morning, is named after one of her songs.

Be ready to turn up the volume when this collection debuts in January.
