Health Alert: WHO Declares H1N1 Pandemic
It has been 41 years since the world last saw a pandemic. In today’s announcement revealing the nature of the virus’s spread, Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Margarget Chan, assured this pandemic is in its early days. Thanks to modern science, technology, and global transparency, this virus was the first pandemic to not only be caught in its earlier stages, the resources are available to monitor it closely which puts us ahead of the virus.
