Jimmy Choo launches new site Choo 24:7 Stylemakers to show off street style

Jimmy Choo has entered the realm of street style photography with its new site Choo24:7 Stylemakers. The site is dedicated to the brand’s Choo 24:7 collection that features shoes and accessories.

Choo 24:7 encourages fans of the brand to submit images of themselves showing off their personal style that incorporates Jimmy Choo shoes or accessories. Selected images will be featured on the site, which visitors can like and share via social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Visitors will also be able to shop for similar styles as those shown in the images on Choo’s online boutique.

Choo 24:7 will also display Instagram images tagged “choo247” or “jimmychoo” in a pop-up ticker at the bottom of the site.

Adding to the street style strategy, the brand has enlisted street style photographer Eddie Newton of the Mr. Newton style website to shoot a style icon for each city for the site. Caroline Issa, the executive fashion director and publisher of Tank magazine, represents London, while actress and model Jessica Joffe represents New York. Newton has shot Issa and Joffe, in their respective cities, wearing the Choo 24:7 collection as they visit art galleries, lunch with friends or stroll around the city. In the upcoming year, Choo 24:7 plans to reveal new ambassadors for cities including Milan, Antwerp, Paris, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
