Kate Moss Joins British Vogue

Fashion elite meets, well, fashion elite. British Vogue announces that Kate Moss is now a contributing editor for the much-lauded fashion magazine. While the model isn’t a stranger to British Vogue, having appeared on the cover 33 times, this is the first time she’s been a part of the editorial team.

Moss recently made headlines with the announcement that she’s partnering again with Topshop for a collection. The former supermodel is never far from fashion, now making a name for herself in the design end of the fashion business with Topshop, and with British Vogue hiring her as an editor. The magazine is giving Moss the creative freedom to choose her photographers and models for the fashion stories she produces.

There’s nothing but smiling faces on Vogue’s side of things regarding Moss. When asked about Moss, British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman told WWD that she was looking forward to working with her. Shulman pointed out the model’s vast knowledge of the fashion industry and her experience, and said Moss’s “depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see used in the pages of British Vogue.”

As fans of Moss, we’re looking forward to seeing her work in the pages of British Vogue.
