Kate Winslet and Lancome partner for charity makeup line
Celebrity actress Kate Winslet is teaming up with beauty giant Lancome to create a limited edition makeup line to benefit her charity, The Golden Hat Foundation, reported Telegraph.
Available in stores November in time for the holiday madness, The Golden Hat Collection offers the staples for dressing up for a night out on the town, including two-shade blusher, bright red lipstick and glossy nail polish, all stamped with the Golden Hat Symbol and Kate’s signature.
With a goal of creating awareness of autism, the foundation is dedicated to improve the lives of the millions who struggle with the disorder by providing education, career training and recreational activities. Lancome approach the star and sold her on the collaboration, committing to donate 150,000 euros from the makeup line sales.
“Lancôme's instant offer of support was a huge display of confidence and generosity, and I knew it would open many doors,” Winslet said to the Telegraph.
