Louboutin opens new store in Brazil
Christian Louboutin is capitalizing on the success of his store in São Paulo, which launched April 2009, by opening a second store to be located in Brasilia, Brazil. Sized the same as the first one – 1,400 square feet – the shop will be situated in a Shopping Iguatemi mall.
“We have many clients from Brasília, where the market is very strong,” Patricia Assui, the brand’s director in Brazil, said to WWD.
The label is looking to see the same increase in sales it did with the unit in São Paulo: double digit gains in 2010 and more growth expected this year.
Stay tuned for a possible second São Paulo store sometime in the next four years.
