Lula Lu debuts first AAA cup bra
Ellen Shing, owner of Lula Lu, always felt that petites were a lost market in lingerie. Small-breasted herself, she thought women of all sizes should feel sexy and thus started LuLa Lu, a boutique lingerie brand that specializes in sizes 32A-36AAA. She told LadyLux, “I have to say, when I first started I was like ‘Does this size really exist?’ The double A is already quite a small size. However, when I started to fit people I realized there was definitely a need for the triple A.”
The first AAA cup available in the United States, LuLa Lu offers a multitude of styles and colors in the size. However, a few favorites of Ellen’s are the Lightly Padded Push-up in black satin, the Natasha in black lace and the Kiara Bralette that loses the underwire for a cute, comfy fit.
No longer directed to the teens section or offered cotton sports bras, petites can look feminine and flirty too, while loving their small frame. Instead of stressed out, worrying whether you’ll ever find a bra that fits, Ellen Shing makes the experience an effortless one. “When I opened my store, I wanted a place where customers could come and feel free to try on whatever they wanted and not feel restricted. They come and explore how they would like to express themselves through lingerie,” she told us.
Although her shop is located in San Mateo, Calif., small-breasted shoppers don’t have to worry about making the trek to the west coast. All of her styles are available online at LulaLu.com.
