LUX Look: Tie Dye

When the sun comes out, so does the color! This spring and summer, bring some peace and love to your wardrobe with some totally cool tie-dye. I’m not talking handmade, designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Rebecca Minkoff are turning the after-school project into a chic new way to get noticed. Whether you want to go head-to-toe in a maxi or just rock a mineral ring, there’s plenty of ways to get hip with tie dye.

1. Tie Dye Maxi Dress by T-Bags
Maxi’s are the best compromise for summer. You don’t really want to wear pants… but a skirt isn’t great when the wind picks up. The length gives elegance but the soft fabric and funky color combo make it casual chic. Plus, with the rad red yoke—you don’t even have to accessorize.

2. Tie Dye Easy Rider Clutch by Rebecca Minkoff
It’s no surprise that the edgy handbag designer decided getting groovy wasn’t beyond her. This accessory is great for any occasion—a night out on the town or on the back of a Harley. The luxurious leather, lovely studs and detachable chain strap make this flashback handbag a total must-have!

3. Aimee Flats by Lucky Brand
Who said you can’t tie dye your shoes? Adorned with boho hippie charms at the heel, these blue-green babies will have you starting your own Woodstock in no time.

4. Tie Dye Leggings by T-Bags
Black leggings are so… winter. Try something funky for your next girl’s night out. You’ll be sure to strike love lightening while wearing these electric tights. Who can forget a girl with these legs?

5. Brooklyn Ring by Jessica Matrasko
Although it’s 100% agate, this swirly-toned stone showcases a multitude of colors. The chunky gold gives it a vintage vibe, just right for your 70s inspired look.
