Move over Lexus, Infiniti and BMW, there’s a new LUX-ury sedan in town!!

Hyundai Motors Co. just announced the launch of their version of the LUX sedan to the United States; making it their first posh vehicle to hit American soil.

Capitalizing on the success they first had in the Asian markets, Hyundai has decided to extend the newly designed Equus to North American come 2010.

Testing out the market, the Equus was just showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey. From what we can tell, many were quite taken by the beautifully designed vehicle. Offering a V-8 engine and many other well designed perks, this car definitely provides a tempting option for most car-enthusiasts!

Stay tuned for further details as the launch date gets closer. Pricing has yet to been released, although in South Korea the car started at $48,000.
