Modnique.com offers chance to help homeless pets
For all those lovers of furry creatures out there, Modnique.com, a Los Angeles-based private membership shopping site, is partnering with Much Love Animal Rescue for a special fundraising event. Between April 6 and April 13, a portion of proceeds from the flash sales site will benefit Much Love Animal Rescue, a nonprofit whose mission is to rescue abused, neglected and homeless domestic animals and find them safe and loving homes.
The affair kicks offs with an event on Saturday, April 9, at Los Angeles’ Barrington Dog Park, where pets and their owners can enjoy delicious food and drink, courtesy of Kofi BBQ and Sweet Leaf Tea. Animals get a chance to get pampered by participating in dressing up in costumes, getting styled by Town & Country Pet Grooming and nibbling on peanut butter “pup cakes” from Cupcakes A Go Go.
This wholesome, fun-filled event also provides a chance to help out, with iPads circulating for attendees to contribute to the fundraising on Modnique.com.
“I am such a huge fan of Much Love Animal Rescue and am thrilled we could come together for this fundraiser to happen,” said Noah Soltes, director of business development of Modnique.com, in a statement. “Taking care of a man’s best friend is so important, and I think this is the perfect opportunity for pet lovers to shop and give back.”
