More than 170 designers at London Fashion Week’s The Exhibition
The international showcase The Exhibition at London Fashion Week, opening Friday, will boast more than 170 labels, which will convene to display their Fall/Winter collections of accessories, jewelry, footwear and read-to-wear. Of these, fully 60 are designers new to LFW.
“This is an edited exhibition for the U.K. and international leading retailers and media offering new talent selections alongside established brands and showrooms,” Caroline Rush, chief executive of the hosting British Fashion Council, said in a statement.
Those designers exhibiting for the first time include Draw in Light, Nancy Van Ostren, Sarah Baadarani, Shao Yen Chen, Teatum Jones and Tze Goh.
A number of showcasing initiatives will be on display. Sponsored by Monsoon, Estethica focuses on the ethically aware designs of 30 presenters and is the largest Estethica showcase to date, while NEWGEN, sponsored by TOPSHOP, will feature innovation through 17 top budding British designers.
The Exhibition, held at London’s four-story Somerset House, lasts from Feb. 18 to Feb. 21 and is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, with an early opening on Feb. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
