Oceana to Celebrate 6th Annual SeaChange Summer Party

On Sunday, August 18th, Oceana will host their sixth annual SeaChange Summer Party at the spectacular Villa di Sogni estate in Laguna Beach. With expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, guests will enjoy a magical evening under the stars while raising awareness for ocean conservation.

Now in its sixth year, this summer soiree has raised nearly $5 million to help implement worldwide campaigns based on science to heal the oceans. Named by Kiplinger Magazine as one of the top environmental organizations that “deserve your dollars,” supporting this cause ensures that children of the world benefit from healthy oceans for the next 100 years and beyond. Since 2001, Oceana has protected over 1.2 million square miles of oceans and sea creatures.

This year’s star studded event will feature Dennis Haysbert from the hit FOX series “24” as the Master of Ceremonies and Ocean Champions, James L. Connaughton, Alexandra Cousteau, and Philippe Cousteau. The highlight of the evening will be a private concert for guests by legendary singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow.

Before guests sit down for a gourmet dinner, they'll have a chance to participate in the organization’s world-class auction, a vital component of the evening. Featuring everything from stunning jewelry to extravagant vacations, this year’s is not to be missed.
