One Kings Lane now offering editorial

Flash-sale site One Kings Lane is booming with business, having created 3 million users in just two years, reported WWD. The site vends home goods from prestigious brands for a 70 percent discount. But that is not all.

Interested in boosting its figures further, it will now offer original editorial content available to everyone.

The new offering from One Kings Lane, Live.Love.Home, is backed by former editors of, Elle Decor and T: The New York Times Style Magazine.

“We’ll be the destination for those in their 30s and early 40s who are starting their own home,” said Kerstin Czarra, executive editor.

“[Online design magazine] Lonny is for younger people, Elle has that celebrity angle,” she said of what makes Live.Love.Home stand out from the crowd.

Currently, no advertisers have signed on for the release of Live.Love.Home. “We’re not a profit center, we’re more of a gateway for people outside the firewall, for people looking around the Web for content,” said Czarra.
