Pink-Slip? No Problem For Virgin Mobile Users

Gotta love a company that cares. Virgin Mobile just announced that it will cover a pre-paid customer’s cell phone bill for three months if they lose their job. They also reduced the price of monthly unlimited pre-paid plans. The wireless company said Thursday that it would waive fees for three months for any of its prepaid, no-contract plans if a customer loses his job, as long as he has been a customer for at least two months. Virgin also cut the price on its unlimited prepaid calling plan to $49.99 from $79.99, and introduced new text-messaging-only plans that charge separately for voice calls.
