‘Plus-Size’ Women to be Featured in January Issue of V Magazine
V Magazine will make a bold move to kick off the New Year!
That’s right LUX Nation, it seems the popular fashion mag will dedicate the entire January issue to appreciate all body types. This means that from cover to cover plus-size models will be the main feature. Do note, these models are simply labeled ‘plus’ according to the industry standard and really represent the normal female size!
“Big, little, pint-size, plus-size — every body is beautiful. And this issue is out to prove it,” V editor Stephen Gan said to Nymag.com.
Captured both clothed and in their birthday suits, this positive body image issue is definitely a way to communicate universal beauty. One of the exceptional beauties to be featured is Crystal Renn. Photographers for the shoot include Terry Richardson and Bruce Weber.
