Radar: Ermenegildo Zegna Centennial Event

On September 14, Italian fashion house, Ermenegildo Zegna, will be celebrating a century as the world’s leader in fine’s men clothing, with a Centennial Exhibition in their Beverly Hills store on Rodeo Drive. The brand’s Image Director, Anna Zegna will be hosting the event along side actor Ted Danson, a Board Member of Oceana as well as long-time companion of Zegna. The Fondazione Zegna, with Anna Zenga as President, has been a long-time supporter of Oceana in efforts of safeguarding marine habitats. In that respect, from Sept 12th to Sept 18th, 10% of sales at the Beverly Hills store will be donated to the charity.

The event will showcase what is a slice of the original Centennial Exhibition that took place on June 21st 2010 at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Large torso shaped installations with display four themes: Mind, Hand, Style, and Environment, that will tell the story of how designer, Ermenegildo Zegna, was able to stay true to his core values and heritage while developing and maintaining a brand that holds such excellence and pristine.

The new Centennial book, Ermenegildo Zegna – An Enduring Passion for Fabrics, Innovation, Quality & Style, published by Skira, explains these concepts in its entirety. The hardbound book retails for $100 and is available for purchase at all Ermenegildo Zegna stores.
