Rent the Runway launches L.A. pop-up

Rent the Runway is known as a fabulous online destination to save dollars by renting dresses and accessories. But now Los Angeles shoppers can head to the store in person. From Feb. 11 to 13, Rent the Runway will launch its first pop-up shop, located at the Andaz West Hollywood hotel, reported WWD.

The shop will stock only a portion of the website’s more than 25,000 designers created by 150 designers. Labels provided include Nicole Miller, Badgley Mischka, Milly, Trina Turk and Robert Rodriguez.

As the service does not currently offer same-day delivery in the Los Angeles area, shoppers can now instantly satisfy their cravings for that special temporary outfit, and just in time for Valentine’s Day. Tickets to the store are available through Gilt City for $10. Rent the Runway hopes to build brand consciousness in the area, as the firm does not provide operations on the ground in the city.
