LUX Fashion Update:  Hollywood Rock Fashion Week has NEW Venue

LUX-Fashionistas, the Hollywood Rock Fashion Week festivities have just been moved to a new venue.

This 4-day fashion show produced by New York-based Rock Media and Gen Art Fresh Faces, will no longer be at the Paramount Studios location as previously noted. The Fashion-extravaganza will now take place at Peterson Automotive Museum on October 28-31 and will be about the fusion of ‘fashion with music.’

“We had to make a decision about our venue and have made a decision to move from the Paramount to the Petersen Museum,” said Nicole Purcell, president and partner of Rock Media. “We have been in the middle of an exciting time for our company, as we recently merged with Gen Art. And our focus has been strategizing and preparing for all the programs we are creating. The Petersen makes sense as [Gen Art] has produced a number of shows there.”

The festivities will kick off with Gen Art front stage on October 28 and then followed by lingerie label Biatta. Some additional designers to make an appearance include: Rory Beca, Seneca Rising and MC Black and accessories labels CC Skye, The Generic Man, Ludevine and Stampd L.A. Previously scheduled Halloween party on October 31 has also been canceled and Alicia Lawhorn was slated to show her new line and recently decided to pull out due to personal reasons.

“We are so excited to debut our Rock Fashion Week L.A.,” Purcell said. “It has been an ambition of ours to tap into this incredible fashion community, as we hope to be instrumental in supporting veteran Los Angeles talent, seek out emerging designers and be able to provide the international fashion community a chance to show with us.”

As you can see LUXies, much has been re-arranged for this new addition to L.A. Fashion Week, though it promises to pack a full show. This will be the ending venue for this month of fashion affairs in the Los Angeles vicinity!! For more information or to purchase tickets, visit Rockfashionwk.com.
