Saks Fifth Avenue Partners with British Jeweler Garrard to Open In-Store Boutique

Established in 1735, Garrard is the oldest jeweler in the world and is famous for serving royalty. Partnering with Saks, they’re offering their exceptional designs here in the States! Opening today, this is definitely a LUX-opportunity for any LUX shopper with a passion for fine jewelry, diamonds or colored gemstones!

The new 108 sq. ft. boutique will be located in the Saks Fifth Avenue Manhattan flagship store in New York City. Inspired by their London store, it’s decorated with custom chandeliers and a plethora of silk. This exquisite new addition will definitely LUX-fiy any shopping adventure.

“This is a rare opportunity to establish a relationship and presence in our flagship store with a strong luxury brand in early stages of its growth and development in the U.S.,” Scott Erdman, vice president and divisional merchandise manager for jewelry at Saks told WWD. “Our interest in Garrard stems from its very limited distribution, the exclusivity in the market for Saks with a brand that has a very long history in the luxury sector. In addition, the product offering has a fresh, modern sensibility across a broad range on the price spectrum.”

A full range of pieces will be available with prices ranging from $825 for a gemstone set in silver to $1.1 million for an 11-carat white cushion-cut diamond ring!

This new location will also be featuring their new Georgina Chapman collection that includes more than 40 styles and incorporates ‘design tenets used in Marchesa, such as feathers, tassels and drapery.’

So LUXies, what are your thoughts, impressions and feelings about this new collaboration between British Jeweler Garrard and Saks Fifth Ave?
