Spa Quality Facials With Department Store Convenience
An appointment at a luxury spa is no longer necessary for a full service facial, now you only need visit you nearest Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s cosmetic department. Clarins just announced that it will be establishing treatment rooms inside the two department stores and will be offering 45 and 60 minute facials for $50 and $75 respectively. Currently Clarins falls fourth in the ranks of beauty companies, and this is their strategy to move up in the ranks and become the total expert in skin care. The first rooms will open in California and then gradually move into the Miami and NY markets.
While this is a very cool concept, I am curious how many of you out there will take advantage of this service. I am just trying to imagine women leaving a department store fresh off the facial shop….
