Victoria’s Secret Awarded ‘H.U.G. Award’

Victoria’s Secret, lingerie brand, was awarded the H.U.G. (Help Us Give) Award, sponsored by the Intimate Apparel Square Club.

This designation is in honor of the community service that Victoria’s Secret does to help empower women, protect the environment and fund other charities. CEO, Sharen Jester Turney, accepted the award on behalf of the brand as well as its parent company, Limited Brands Inc.

In accepting the HUG Award on Nov. 4, Turney said, “One of the things Victoria’s Secret really believes in is giving back to the global community. One of the things we do every year is devote over 12,000 hours of our time to community service.”

By the way, you can expect to see the next fashion show extravaganza by the lingerie brand to be airing on December 1. The gorgeous and talented Heidi Klum will be hosting the show. This new show will feature some fresh faces after a worldwide model search selected the top 5 beauties to be posing on the catwalk this year.
