Best known for her impeccable accessories collection, Lara Bohinc has revealed she will extend her designs to fashionable footwear!! So all of us shoe-philes can rejoice because soon enough we’ll have even more LUX-apparel to choose from!!

“A modern woman needs to feel empowered by the accessories she is wearing; those are her amulets for modern living,” Bohinc tells VOGUE.COM, explaining: “I like to design shoes that make women feel powerful, elegant and desirable.”

The first launch will include five styles. Three of those styles were inspired by her ‘Lunar bag and Eclipse jewelry collection and two inspired by the new Seventh Seal Collection.’ Expect to find her modern footwear with walking and comfort in mind. The designer herself has even stated that she didn’t create heels too high to ensure they would ‘not just be car shoes’!! Fashionable and comfortable, what could be more LUX??

Expect her designs to retail from £432 (for leather and suede styles) to £648 (for python versions). Wanting your own pair?? They will be available at Harvey Nichols soon!

Don’t expect the expansion of her new collection to end with shoes. Bohinc is also looking at expanding her design influences into home wear, such as bowls, lamps, vases and glassware!! Stay tuned because we here at LadyLUX will keep you up to date!!
