Where to Go, Eat & Drink During NYFW 2013

The fashion, the catwalks, the parties and the mingling can all be so overwhelming during NYFW. In between viewing shows, it’s a must for fashionistas to go out on some downtime and get a proper New York City experience. Read on to find out some trendy NYC hot spots and especially where to go, eat and drink before, in between and after the fashion shows of NYFW 2013!

Where to Sit Back & Relax:

NYFW Where to Go, Eat & Drink High Line

Fashionistas looking for a place to wind down in between shows can head to the urban shopping mall/food court, Chelsea Market. Available for snacks are yummy treats like mac and cheese at Ronnybrook Milk Bar and a scrumptious chicken pot pie at Green Table. Just outside of Chelsea Market is The High Line. This newly famous public park is built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. Groups can mingle while strolling through the park and catch a few rays while lounging on the wooden lounge chairs offering views of the Hudson River.

Where to Get Your Drink On:

NYFW 2013 Where to Go, Eat & Drink Daddy's Bar

Known for its uber-cool and hip food and drink scene, Brooklyn’s bar areas are definitely becoming “it” places to get some libations. At Daddy’s, guests will be surrounded by nothing but musicians and the girls that love them. The Margaveza, an ice cold brew in a pint glass topped with a frozen margarita, is the favorite drink on the menu. Fashionistas looking to get in touch with their inner hipster can change up their glamorous scene for Radegast Hall & Biergarten, where they can take a seat at one of the mile long tables for a mug of German brew.

Where to Grub Out:

NYFW 2013 Where to Go, Eat & Drink The General

Brand new restaurants that have recently opened like The General and Lafayette will offer Fashion Week attendees trendy and unforgettable dining experiences that they expect in New York.
