‘Yes To’ L.A. Garden School Program through Los Angeles School District
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has joined forces with non-profit organization, ‘Yes To Carrots Seed Fund,’ and ‘Environmental Media Association’ to bring organic farming to under-served public school systems of Los Angeles County. This new direction supports health and awareness on a whole new LUX-level by combining Hollywood A-lister student mentoring with an eco-friendly beauty line. 
The ‘Yes To’ line of beauty care products are made from Paraben free ingredients and aim to make you look ‘as radiant as humanly possible.’ Rest assured that these astounding organic products are never tested on animals and are only produced from organic farming principles to ensure the chemical free approach. On top of all of this, a portion of all the sale proceeds from this line go to fund the ‘Yes To Carrots Seed’ program.
This partnership with Yes To Carrots extends the opportunity for the Los Angeles School District to fund this project, despite the recent cutbacks to the California school system budget. This is the type of out of the box thinking needed in these economically challenging times!!
In this recently announced partnership with EMA and LAUSD, the Yes To Carrots Seed Fund will directly support school gardens throughout LA with funding while the EMA will provide celebrity mentoring by EMA’s Young Hollywood Board, (which includes such stars as Nicole Richie, Maroon 5, and Rosario Dawson,) with each board member adopting a school to raise awareness for the program and help kids with environmental education. –Stylecaster.com
