Causeworthy Events: Freedom & Fashion Fair Trade Fashion Show
A non-profit group that been on radar for awhile is Freedom & Fashion. Los Angeles-based Freedom and Fashion (FnF) is an organization dedicated to educating society about the global social issues surrounding modern-day sex slavery and human trafficking.
Freedom & Fashion aims to builds awareness surrounding the injustice of human trafficking through the purchasing power of conscious consumerism by increasing the demand for socially responsible and ethically produced goods and ensuring they are readily available to consumers in the mainstream market place.
On November 19, 2009, Freedom & Fashion will host the Fair Trade Fashion and Trade Show at the UCLA Ackerman Grand Ballroom. The event starts at 6pm, the fashion show starts at 7pm and the shopping begins at 8pm. To RSVP, visit the Freedom & Fashion website or add your self to the guest list.
