LUXies, it seems we have an alternative to eco-ifying our beauty and health routine with a new sustainable toothbrush offered by RADIUS.

In a way you can say RADIUS, ‘puts the money where its mouth is.’  By utilizing recycled US dollar bills, flax and wood, they‘ve created a reusable toothbrush handle that allows for more eco-friendly alternatives for our current brushes made with nylon in place of plastic! It’s also completely BPA free, which means even when you do throw it away it’s biodegradable and will reduce the toxicity to the environment when disposed of.

The maker of award winning toothbrush designs has begun to gear its production towards environmental sustainability, including its choices of packaging. The RADIUS come in a both soft and medium bristle strength.  The handle is made to be versatile for either Right or Left preference.  You can purchase the eco-toothbrushes individually or they come in a 3-pack or 6-pack. Price ranges from $6.95 up to $33.36 for a 6-pack.  Reviewing the overall cost it averages out to be about $3.48 each (before shipping), which is quite comparable to traditional brushes!
