It’s that time of the year again where some feel like it’s a nonstop marathon, while others embrace it as if it was the Christmas of fashion. Yes, we’re talking about Fashion Week (weeks really) and it’s about to kickoff. Today, February 11th marks the first day of New York fashion week - are you ready for this season’s fashion adventure? Just to get the party started and you nice and prepped, here’s a little teaser of things to look forward to.

Fashion Goes Live
For the majority of the population who could only dream of sitting front row at a fashion show, technology grants us our fantasy. Designers are offering livestreaming of their Fall/Winter collections, all you need is a computer and a solid internet connection. Mark your calendars for these top shows.
Ports 1961: 3pm EST on Thursday, February 11 on Vogue.com
Alexander Wang: 5pm EST on Saturday, February 13 on SHOWStudio
Calvin Klein Men’s: 2pm EST on Sunday, February 14 on Calvin Klein’s Facebook page and on

CalvinKleinCollection.com
Marc Jacobs: 8pm EST on Monday, February 15 on MarcJacobs.com
Rodarte: 12pm EST on Tuesday, February 16 on SHOWStudio
Calvin Klein Women’s: 3pm EST on Thursday, February 18 on Calvin Klein’s Facebook page and on CalvinKleinCollection.com

Olsen Twins
The stylish twins are always part of the front row during fashion week, but this year they are taking a step center stage to have a seated show of their Fall/Winter collection from The Row.

Jac and Jil
Look forward to Tommy Ton’s behind the scenes and high-end street style photography on Style.com and of course on The Jak & Jil Blog. You won’t get this up-close and personal with editors and models anywhere else.

Alexander Wang and Gaia Repossi Jewelry Collaboration
Alexander Wang already stole our hearts with the Coco Duffel bag, and now he is at it again but this time expanding into a jewelry collection with Gaia Repossi. The collection has historical touches with a futuristic feel to it. Look for the bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings on the models during Wang’s runway show.

Music and Fashion
Music and fashion have always complemented each other well. Perhaps that’s why newbie to NY fashion week, Peter Jensen, is having Nina Persson of the Cardigans perform at his show, plus a show on Valentine’s Day deserves some love songs. Also playing with the beat is Rachel Comey, who will be having the group Hex Message set the vibe for her Fall/Winter collection.
