“I never understood why so many people just wore plain nude stretchy bras. I wanted more than that. I wanted to take my fashion sense from my outwear looks and pair those with my undergarments. Every part of how a woman dresses should be important to her overall feel and presence,” she shared. “Lingerie is the first thing you put on and the last thing you take off, every single day. It sets the foundation for the way you look and feel, inspiring every emotion.”
The lingerie designer was initially inspired on a trip to Europe, where she discovered a new world of stylish, beautiful lingerie. Leigh realized that there was a huge void in the American intimates marketplace and was determined to start her own brand featuring ultra-chic style and stunning technical details fused with the contemporary need for comfort and practicality.

“I always loved looking at lingerie and touching lingerie at stores. The small amounts of beautiful fabric and the textures were just gorgeous to me,” Leigh said. “I see lingerie as new wardrobe opportunities.”
The Jenna Leigh collection focuses on fashionable underwear, underwire bras, wireless bras, bodysuits, thongs, nighties, rompers and robes with details of keyholes, cutouts and bows for the girl that cares about looking good and feeling confident. Designed by Leigh in New York City, each collection incorporates the finest European components and fabrics and is a reflection of how she is currently feeling.
“I like to inspire my designs from my travels. I love to experience new colors, textures, people, fashion and photographs. I tie all of these feelings and inspirations into my collections,” she explained. “New York also influences me every day. From people watching to art, weather change and restaurants, everything about this city is just electric! I am a very visual person, so New York is perfect for me to walk around and just observe, well, everything!”

Lace and fine materials have always intrigued Leigh, and her favorite creations are usually bridal pieces.
“I love working with high-end lace and silks for bridal. The colors are soft and delicate. I get excited to see the end product - the possibilities are endless. I went to a fabric show in Paris and the lace they made there was even too stunning to touch!” Leigh shared.
In the past four years, the company has continually grown and received positive reactions from editors, buyers and shoppers, and is now looking to expand.
“I have been loving this ride I am taking. Every day there is a new challenge, but, fortunately, a new success as well! We are about to open our first retail store and I still am pinching myself!” Leigh announced.
