Presented at L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Camilla and Marc’s collection featured minidresses with attitudes ranging from flirty to sophisticated. While the palette remained simple with black and neutrals and hints of teal, the design duo played up textures and materials. Ruched pencil skirts that hit right above the knee were paired with sheer blouses. Dresses received the same technique but were contrasted with panels of tonal material. The brother and sister team stepped it up with sophisticated styles made for moments when one needs to impress. Structured with cap sleeves and cinched at the waist, the off-white ladylike number was the epitome of polished. Freeman-Topper and Freeman referenced the 1920s with drop-waist dresses complete with flouncy skirts. A neutral shade and sleeveless silhouette detailed with trim had potential to go from day to night while a black version with sheer sleeves was suitable for doll-up evenings. The show closed with a stunning ruched teal minidress. The sexy look boasted ruched panels as well as ruched sheer long sleeves. The subtle material contrast made for a striking characteristic.
