Revolutionary Footwear by GEOX

Imagine stylish footwear that’s both comfortable and healthy for your feet!

Many of you might be thinking, how does our health relate to our shoes?  Well, great question!  One of the ways our bodies excretes toxins is in our sweat glands and one of the most concentrated areas of sweat glands is on the soles of our feet!  Though many shoes might look good on our feet, if they’re made of material that don’t let our feet rid these toxins in a healthy manner, they could actually be doing more harm than good.

The positive news is that a revolutionary shoe design by GEOX has addressed this very issue by creating a patented shoe system that incorporates a ‘protective breathable membrane.’  This means that you can now wear shoes designed to work with your body, not against it.

This new GEOX system was founded after extensive research and development. They’ve masterfully created soles made of ‘special micro-porous material, which absorbs sweat through the insole and lets it out in the form of water vapor.’  This creates a convenient way for your foot to ‘breathe’ and still offers protection from outside sources, such as that puddle on a rainy day!

Distributed world-wide this is definitely a company that is making a huge mark in the footwear industry.  Definitely one to keep on your LUX RADAR!! wink

In the gallery above, we’ve showcased a few designs from the Fall/Winter ’09 collection. Check them out and let us know what you think! To spoil your own feet, visit shopgeox.com.

So LUX Nation, what are your thoughts and impressions of this new sole? Do you want to try on a pair of these new kicks?
