A New “Edition” to the Banana Family

Our mouths are salivating in anticipation of Banana Republic’s new retail concept, Edition, a store that will only sell handbags and accessories crafted from Italian leather and semi-precious stones. Even more exciting is that limited edition accessories will be created and all goods will sell for the affordable price tag of $100 or less.

The flagship store is set to open May 15th in San Francisco and aims to create a luxury shopping experience, merchandising products on open table displays and having “Edition stylists” available to educate customers on current seasonal trends. Looks like a trip to SF in the late spring is in order, especially since those limited edition goodies are only available in house and not online.
