D&G Reveals New Flagship Store in Milan

D&G knows a thing or two about brand integrity and keeping current. Therefore, they weren’t afraid to shell out where it’s need for its recent Milan remodel. Costing over $5.8 million, this flagship location in Milan looks and feels completely different. No longer loud with neon colored walls and dark surfaces, this location now exudes a soft, warm essence that makes it much more inviting for window shoppers!

Teaming up with BAM design studio, D&G has successfully revamped this location to fit more with the current direction of the brand. This new facelift has also been coordinated with a logo change, shifting from the Dolce & Gabbana to simply D&G. It’s apparent that this is a makeover from the inside out. Even store personnel are changing digs to fit the new look, ‘black dresses and cardigans for women and white shirts, ties and drawstring trousers for men.’

“There is extreme attention to each detail, from the color choices to the sound system because we wanted everything to be perfect,” said Dolce

.

We believe LUX is in the details, and by the looks of it, it appears D&G accomplished their goal with this remodel. The Milan redesign is just the first of many. Next on the list for the visual foreman, D&G will be face-lifting each of their existing 101 stores over the next 24 months—something that translates into a total of 216,000 square feet! A staggering thought to think about is, all those beautiful new items coming to market that will be living within all that new designed retail space!

So LUXies, what do you think? Does a store’s look and feel influence you and your shopping experience? Do you look forward to the up and coming revamped locations??
