After a year at the drawing board, supermodel-turned-jewelry-designer Nicole Trunfio has created a unique piece of jewelry, which she has named the “Universe Bracelet.” Now her one-of-a-kind bracelet, a feat of jewelry engineering, is available to online customers. Launching this past week, the Trunfio Jewels website sells the timeless bracelet and the rest of Trunfio’s line of fine jewelry.

The Universe Bracelet allows the consumer to become the designer. Available in 14-karat gold, platinum or sterling silver, the jewelry piece is fastened by an ingenious screw system Trunfio engineered herself. Shoppers may “create their own universe” by choosing and positioning a range of charms crafted of 14-karat gold, pave diamonds, black diamonds, quartz and turquoise. These pyramid and heart charms can then be interchanged based on the wearer’s whims. The mix of precious metals and gemstones means, as the company claims, that each piece is a “forever-lasting investment.” Prices vary from the $900 sterling silver bracelet to the $30,000 Universe Bracelet in 14-karat gold with pave diamond attachment.

The sole proprietor of Trunfio Jewels, the 27-year-old supermodel launched her collection during an ad campaign at this past February’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. After a showroom and a TriBeca store, the website is the final piece thus far in her sales campaign. Trunfio sported the Universe Bracelet, which also debuted at Fashion Week, during the closing bell ringing at NASDAQ. At this special appearance, she dedicated her bracelet, featuring a special dog tag charm, to Fatigues to Fabulous, a nonprofit that helps returning female military veterans.
