Wow, after reading the brief story that accompanies this video from CNN I am baffled by it.
What would cause such large groups of people to congregate and riot for a show that has been on for 10 plus seasons? Especially with the prize in mind being ONE winning contract that has only launched a few mediocre at best modeling careers since the show began.
I don’t get it. Have we become that desperate, reckless, and careless with not only ourselves but with the well being of others? I get that we are in hard times and people are grasping at straws to try something on—but is this really the opportunity people are ‘searching’ for? Again, I don’t know and I’m completely baffled and saddened by this.
