Christian Louboutin names shoe after Blake Lively
Blake Lively, the “Gossip Girl” star that was recently named the Most Desirable Woman of 2011 (according to an AskMen poll), now adds muse to her list of accomplishments.
The renowned shoemaker Christian Louboutin has named a multicolored strappy heel “Blake” after the star.
“I went to [Louboutin’s] atelier and I was walking around, like every shoe here is so beautiful and I saw this one pair and I said, ‘I’ve never seen anything like it,’” Lively said on Live! With Regis and Kelly, according to British Vogue. “He said, ‘Do you love it?’ (and) I said ‘I want to sleep with it under my pillow every night,’ and he said, ‘We’re naming it the Blake then.’ It was insane. It’s like my greatest accomplishment.”
On the show, she also discussed her private tour of Paris, via Vespa, with the designer himself.
